I've been waiting to ask Elena what picture of her I should post but I'm tired of waiting for her to answer my phone calls so this is it. Elena is so very busy these days emailing, text messaging, and talking on the phone, not to mention attending classes, writing papers til the wee hours of the morn, and working at Arise for Social Justice, that she just doesn't have the time to call her mother. Elena, if you don't like the picutre, call me!

Apple anyone?

I love this picture of Elena. She actually looks like a hipster as she picks apples. But she does appear to be someone who should call her mother more often (not to mention her aunt Sarah).
This is just a reminder to lovely young Elena.... you have an aunt named Julie who lives quietly in scenic Rockland County, NY. Although at times, this particular aunt appears to be a bit anti-social, she really isnt and would love to hear from her cute neice ( after her cute neice calls her mom and other aunt first, of course).
